This map was developed and maintained by Build Alaska’s Future Education Fund (BAF), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing factual information about federal investments and infrastructure development in Alaska.

BAF developed and maintains this interactive GIS map as a key tool in its educational and engagement strategy. Integrated within the State of Alaska Geoportal and accessible through the BAF website, the map provides detailed, user-friendly information about infrastructure projects funded by federal, state, and tribal initiatives, including the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. The map’s functionality allows users to explore project details such as funding amounts, responsible agencies, and program specifics. This gives Alaskans a clearer understanding and a stronger voice in the development processes shaping their communities.
