  • Cost Share: 75% federal and 25% non-federal – Cost share for the BRIC program is adjusted to 90% federal and 10% non-federal for the following communities: Community Disaster Resilience Zones, Economically Disadvantaged Rural Communities.
  • Purpose of Funding: Implementing a sustained pre-disaster natural hazard mitigation program to reduce risk to the population and structures from future hazard events, while reducing reliance on federal funding from future disasters
  • Eligibility: State; Muni/Borough; Tribes.
