Infrastructure Office Hour: Project Implementation & Delivery

Infrastructure Office Hours provide you an opportunity to interact with AML staff and guest speakers virtually, every Tuesday at 9am to discuss specific grant and project opportunities. Learn about best practices, tips, and tools to participate in various programs to build and strengthen your municipality. Many Alaska communities are managing complex infrastructure and funding decisions with limited staff and resources. This session will introduce tools communities are using to make that process easier and share practical approaches to improve planning and communication around those decisions.

During the session, you will see how communities can:

• Forecast long-term financial needs
• Evaluate rate scenarios and funding options
• Clearly communicate plans to councils and the public
• Move from reactive decisions to proactive planning

AML has secured grant funding to heavily subsidize access to the Muniworth platform for a limited number of member communities, so please let AML staff know if this is of interest!
