Infrastructure Office Hour – Water/Sewer Utility Rate Setting

This water and wastewater Infrastructure Office Hour will look at the basics of rate setting and collection tools. The conversation will center on the connection between the collection rate and its impact to budgets and financial reports. The guest speaker will be Lynn Keneally with the State of Alaska’s Rural Utility Business Advisor Program (RUBA). The State Revolving Fund team will also be there to remind participants about the Sustainable Infrastructure Planning Projects (SIPP) Loan, a funding source to help municipalities with professional planning efforts that often includes rate setting.
