Join AML for Tuesday’s Infrastructure Office Hours featuring Jessie Huff (Energy Program Manager at Southeast Conference) and Ria Smyke (Program Assistant at Alaska Heat Smart) who will share insights on the new Accelerating Clean Energy Savings in Alaska’s Coastal Communities (ACES) program. This $39 million, five-year initiative aims to help coastal homeowners transition from fossil fuels to energy-efficient heat pumps. With incentives and energy assessments, the program will make it possible to install up to 6,000 heat pumps across 43 communities from Ketchikan to Kodiak, with the aim of slashing home heating costs.
Infrastructure Office Hours provide you an opportunity to interact with AML staff and guest speakers virtually, every Tuesday at 9am to discuss specific grant and project opportunities. Learn about best practices, tips, and tools to participate in various programs to build and strengthen your municipality. Contact Erin Reinders with any questions about participating or the opportunity to present at an upcoming Office Hour.
